MOST people, would only focus on getting the highest amounts of grades, but do not see what comes after getting such high grades.

It’s very admirable when a person chooses to see a successful and happy life is not mainly achieved by grades, but by also how they maturely live in life.

I found myself luckier because in 2010, the maximum number of subjects a student could take was 12, so there was no need for me to compete in a rat race to get sky-high marks.

And yeah, I was one of the students who ‘never studied his History textbook, and ended up getting A instead of A+’. (If it were not for leaked questions which forced the LPM to change a set of question, I would’ve gotten A+ because of some highly accurate tips)

I could feel what you felt. I really envy others for being able to play musical instruments, draw, paint etc., but I never have the chance to learn it due to poor family background. I find people who can play the piano gracefully really, really elegant and attractive. T.T

But I had my passion back then. It was all about the Chinese Club for me. I attended every single co-curricular session of that club and eventually made my way to become the Secretary of the Club. In that club I found joy, satisfaction, friendship etc.

All in all, despite my results which paled out in comparison to yours (only 8A+’s and 2A’s), I do think I was luckier than you because I didn’t have to sacrifice that much. I never attended tuition classes nor slept so little. It was all thanks to God that I still managed to garner a better-than-average results.

And finally, that A+ in Chinese Language really commanded total attention from others. I was really grateful for that.

As you said, there’s nothing too late. I hope by now you had found your passion and interest! I am still having a hard time figuring out mine.
